What are your plans for 2015

my plans tend to be a little fluid but this is what is on the cards atm:

- finish 4 apartments in perth - around march
- finish 5 apartments in maylands - around may
- decide what im going to do with esperance land - 1Ha R20 site
- start nightclub renovations and relaunch
- open a bar, negotiating lease atm
- consider a restaurant, been in discussions for a while
- partly sell out of a significant listed investment when a few milestones are hopefully met
- sell out of a private biotech company when they list
- grow a private business ive got an investment in and then maybe sell down half my shares
- slow down a business to core clients
- try to get this 1 particular site ive put 7 offers on...
- once site prices settle down in perth (not too far away imo) pick up another 1 or 2.
- potentially stop turning down consulting work as i do enjoy it

on personal level

- continue to focus on family and close friends
- help another couple of mates start their businesses
- try to increase how much time and money i spend on charity
- continue to travel, iran and turkey planned for may, thailand in march and would like to go to england and maybe france too. 2014 was the first time i prioritised taking time off instead of just working, went to malaysia (6 times!), japan, new york, melbourne and the balkans, so was away pretty much every month from jan til september
- lose another 10kg, down 17kg this year but have been slack the last few months

gonna be a fun year!
 
Plans for 2015 which will keep me busy:

Become a dad for the second time :D
Squeeze in a holiday somewhere
Complete developing 4 x 4 unit sites
Commence the PPOR build and hopefully finish it by December
Obtain planning permits for 2 x 10 apartment sites
Less time consulting (minimal in fact), more time with family & friends
Refocus on fitness

Financial:
- complete last granny flat by June;
- undertake my first personal subdivision (have facilitated others);
- grow business to $2.5M turnover;
- double current total income;
- cut personal expenses by 20%.

Personal:
- build stronger relationships with my mentors;
- further my education, possibly back to uni in 2015;
- spend even more quality time with family, especially my 2 mooshie nieces;
- stop resisting long term relationships (slow and steady progress here);
- assist 3 friends develop their new businesses;
- throw myself back into community work;
- re-immerse myself in my faith (been avoiding it for 3 years);
- cut down on home waste and living a consumer lifestyle;
- transform my eating and exercise habits (have been cutting out junk food and being active 4 times weekly);
- taking up private salsa classes (I love dancing);
- cut down on travelling (in line with lower emissions and also, I travel way too much).

I will keep re-writing this and put timelines and implement an action plan. Will have to enrol some buddies to keep me in check.

-Buy IP3 and IP4.
-Visit a country I haven't visited before.
-Get back into consistent training and fix my diet.
-Increase income.
-Read a minimum of 12 books.
-Learn more about subdivision and development.
-Improve mindset, increase appreciation of the 'now'.
-Attend my first somersoft meet up :D

2015 will be a year of debt reduction for me aswell 50g of the hl atleast :)

It will also be a busy year for me with ips aswell as ill look into buying ip 2 early 2015 (jan -feb).
will be looking to renovate ip 1 in march/ april 2015 and ip 2 potentially on purchase or 6 months after purchase.
Will also look into purchasing ip 3 late 2015, with equity from 1 & 2 :) .

2015 is going to be a busy year but thats the way I like it...

We actually do everything, I just pick one random thing and promote it.

Doing a church renovation and a few bathrooms in Jan. Currently doing some building maintenance work on a community hall and child care centre.

The architecture, engineering, labouring etc, end aim is to get it to $5M turnover. Just gta get my lazy *** out of the way of the business succeeding. We are our own worst enemy.
 
- Finalise rezoning (rural to urban) on IP#1
- Complete structure plan for IP#1
- Work toward completing IP#1 subdivision requirements
- Purchase cashflow positive investment property, IP#2
- Tidy up grounds at IP#1
- Help my parents maximise the value on their IP (subdivide or sell)
- Depending on status of IP#1 subdivsion, purchase IP#3.
- Go paperless in my home office (aiming to have this done by 1.1.15)
- Help my wife find happiness in a new job after 9 years break from paid employment
- Teach 9 year old dyslexic son to touch type and buy him his own computer
- Spend less
