I didn't know this but you can vote both above and below the line for the senate.
Below the line takes preference, but if it becomes informal due to a mistake, then the above the line takes preference.

If you want to be ultra safe, fill in below the line and the fill in one of the above the line squares. The below the line vote takes priority, but if proves to be informal, the ballot paper will revert to the above the line optionn
