Wher edo I satnd with builders warranty and a short circuit?

I have had $60,000 worth of renovations completed in April in Brisbane by a registered builder.
Where do I stand with regards to repairs: in particular electrical faults.

Tonight 8 power-points suddenly failed and the circuit board is fine apart from one circuit which wont re-set.
I would like to have some facts, in case i am fobbed off ,when I contact him.

if the breaker wont reset then remove all appliances plugged into the points and it should then reset ,plug one appliance back in at a time and turn on and when one trips the breaker that's the appliance that's faulty

Exactly arms. I generally start with the fridge and anything else that has a motor which may have stopped in the wrong place.

The breaker is doing its job - breaking the circuit until the fault has been rectified.

The fault was in the circuit board but I used your tips to narrow down the problem and save time ($)
thanks
However up until what date is the builder not responsible?
