Trust do I need one yet ?

I own four properties at the moment all in my name, I get a land tax bill for around 2k every year, I'm single no kids.

I'm looking at buying a triplex block to build and hold, and then looking to do the same again next year.

End game is trying to get enough equity so I can buy or build a commercial tenancy and then live off the rent and retire (from being a johnny punch clock anyway)

So do you think its trust time or I can still do a few more in my own name ?

You are not going to save any land tax by buying under a trust. Having said that, since you are paying the land tax anyway, why not go trust get the benefits come with it?

I recently learnt that SMSF has land tax threshold.
