Mibbit irc server

Hi Sim

Do you have any admin access or sway with the powers that run irc.mibbit.net?

I have been using the web chat for a while and decided to fire up mirc instead. It was an old version which was instantly z-lined for being a compromised release.

Unfortuntely z-lines run on IP and as I have a static IP, web chat etc are now blocked

Just trying to track down the best way to get it removed

I'll have a look at what the options are.

What version of mIRC were you running? Can you upgrade?

I'm running mIRC 7.29 without any issues.

I managed to get the IRCOps to remove the z-line (I think) ... can you try the web-chat client and see if you can get in?

Then upgrade your mIRC so it doesn't happen again! Someone suggested anything v6 and above should be okay.

Awesome thanks Sim. I have installed a new irc client yesterday as part of my testing and can now connect.
