Homebush Bay to be renamed

I've just finished reading through a brochure about the name change of Homebush Bay. Its going to be called Wentworth Point.

The master plan has a 4 hectare park on the point surrounding the ferry, a marina and a walk bridge over the bay to Rhodes train station.

The amount of units still planned will probably hinder capital growth but the rental return is a healthy 5%-6% in most cases.

Is it the area being renamed or is it the name of the development?

Like in the one at MeadowbanK -Shepherds Bay

How times change ...........................

when I was a lad, Homebush Bay Was a place of brickworks and landfills, and 2 headed fish, but the words uttered by Juan Antonio in 1993 "Syd ani" really made huge changes to the whole area.

Homebush and Concord west will continue to evolve, but the sheer volume of new dwellings will take a while to be soaked up

It was a fantastic wasteland when we were kids. We used to ride our pushies there from Abbotsford. Bloody long way, but we knew when we got there we could spend a Saturday getting up to all sorts of mischief and nobody would stop us.
