dish washer help

hi guys, i have recently brought a whirlpool dishwasher. it is installed but when i run a cycle it keeps coming up with error code 2, stating the drain hose is too high. but the drain hose is not too high.
the bottom of the dish washer is full of water and wont drain out.
has anyone seen this before and what can i do?

I wonder if it is this simple.
The nosle of the plastic drain located under the sink is normally blocked and you have to drill it out before you connect the washing machine hose to it
