I have a question in regards to a strata titled block which is my PPOR.
I want to extend my building to make it one bedroom. I have plenty of space out the back to do this.
Is this possible?
I never thought it was but last annual meeting with the owners corp they mentioned when giving an example about insurance that permanent fixtures like outdoor awnings etc were acceptable but were not covered by insurance and were the owners responsibility to fix anything wrong with it.
Does this mean I can build an extra room. I think it will really help the value of my unit as its only 2bedroom atm?
I am going to go the strata manager but would like some advice first.
