Just wondering if anyone has ever had dealings with Bank Guarantees. I have a loan which is already approved and I approached ANZ for a guarantee and the manager said the cost would be around $500.00 which I thought a bit steep.
I am having a transportable house built and the company wants 20% deposit 2 months in advance to reserve a place on the production line, which I am not happy about because if theres delays it will cost me extra in interest payments. Interest payments are around $195 mth so if all goes to plan there wont be much difference but as we all know things dont always go to plan.
