    Getting to that time of year when people are less likely to be listing their home for sale, so stands to reason that listings would drop as sales have remained strong (stronger than last year at least) with less new stock hitting the market.

    Without having the rest of the article it's hard to know where the writer was going with the whole article, but I agree sentiment probably has a lot to do with driving the market. Some fundamentals are already in place, such as the low stock on market, high population growth in recent years...

    Probably depends how far in advance you book. I booked around 2 months in advance for a couple of nights in early September and paid $125 for single room at Criterion Hotel and they had twin for only around $10 more.

    City wide median yields are still not very attractive, but I'm sure that's not representative of every suburb... so Aaron what Perth suburbs would you be looking at in Perth if buying for investment and hunting for a decent yield?
