Think they looked at the thread title and thought houses were available for under $12k, instead of the number of properties listed being under 12000.

The place next time mine is now under contract for aprox. $40k more than I expected mine would get, and within 6 days of being listed.

What kind of numbers are showing up to a home that bring a +$25k increase over median? I mean, how many are trying to out-bid each other? This bodes well for my plans early next year. Going to drop $5k on the kitchen n carpets, lick of paint, and see if we can't sell it for $30k more. Maybe...

I was planning on selling one of my 2bedders early next year for around $340-350k, and the place next door has just been listed as between $370-$400k. wtf. Granted it is a bit neater, but not $50k neater, or maybe my goal is a bit too low and I can expect a higher price for mine??? Sellers...

Great to see - how long will this continue, with news of mining kind of slowing down? There was also an article somewhere (can't remember where) saying there are simply no more hotel rooms in the city available on any day of the week!! (except for $400/night suites that can be ignored)

Define "prime suburbs" in Perth. Are we talking <10km of CBD in any direction?
