that makes sense! i'm not big on environmental design - i mean, i understand it, i'm just not a fan of it in temperate zones.

it's probably owner built - sometimes people erect large structures in cold/wet climates so they can take a few years to finish the job. might be cold, but at least it's dry. they then generally sell the "overstructure" and leave the house underneath.

i am doing it for a living! it's parapets on all sides with a flattish pitch roof inside and box gutter setup. purely box on box.
