Is there a Doctor in the house?

If you have time go to a clinic and have a nurse clean the inside of your ears.

    Payment question

Looks like I'll be taken to small claims by the Landscaper, and in turn will take the 'neighbour' to small claims, still haven't paid. CIT student support manager, that's the quality of teaching staff we have in Canberra. Oh the landscaper wants $330 of a sub $1000 bill as late payment fees...

    Payment question

Some people are just scums, would not pay. The landscaper is not any better, rude and harassing us with late payment fees with many emails even though 94% is already paid within the 7 days of invoicing. Threatened to send a letter of demand and credit filed with Veda Advantage. They also lost...

    Payment question

Ok so I don't have to worry about the invoice? The landscaper ask us to pay on their behalf.

    Payment question

I don't want to be responsible for their late payment fees if she's late in paying. We don't dictate the payment terms. We still paid our bill on time during Christmas so I don't see how that's a valid excuse. Also I'm sure the landscaper celebrate Christmas too and should be paid for their work...

    Payment question

Hello I have problems getting the neighbour to pay for their share of the fence and the wall. They raised their land so we need to build the wall nearly 40% higher than anticipated. We asked for 20% share of the cost and ask if they want to build the fencing together. Story: This is...

    Retaining wall questions again

Hi I am building a sandstone wall, apparently they slice the random boulders into small pieces as a cladding and put random cement pieces as the backing. The quote is calculated by height x width x the top cap. Is it how it's done? Also as extras we were given the following information...

    Another retaining wall question

Yes that's why I wasn't happy that they build up the land, probably best to retain the wall on our side and let them deal with theirs. Thank you for your input.

    Another retaining wall question

Thanks, I'm trying learn as much as possible before approaching the builder, they don't have the best reputation. Fencing should be ok, everyone needs to build the same type of fence. The cut is not right on boundary. We plan for next door to cut their block like everyone else in the estate...

    Another retaining wall question

Originally we want to build the retaining wall 50cm from the boundary, landscaper says it's a better option then building on the boundary, any comments on that? The wall will be 60cm tall only. Now they fill their block 50cm above the natural ground level, the difference is now 110cm.

    Another retaining wall question

There's no top soil on the blocks here. Yes fencing on the boundary.

    Another retaining wall question

Yes the photo shows a side boundary, there's going to a house on top. Our house is built and their block is a zero boundary block, so there's a chance they'll build the garage to the boundary, I'll assume they will as their block is very small. We need to wait till they put in garage piers...

    Another retaining wall question

Meant to start a new thread on this: Ok I had quotes all ready for the retaining wall once we take possession of the house. Today found out next door filled their land up approx. 50cm. This is going to impact our retaining wall. Does anyone has experience with this situation, should the...
