Modern outdoor wall paint color suggestions

Heaps of new builds going up in and around my suburb over past few years and most are in shades of taupe, coffee and grey - the darkest coffee ones look like hot chocolate, medium ones like a weak latte and the lightest kind of weak cappuccino or sort of light stone. Of the greys I've seen...

    Perth nightmare!

Yes I have photos but the detail not all that clear so wouldn't make much sense to anyone who hadn't seen the property. Bathroom window is one of the older safety glass ones with wire grid through the glass it's beside the bath over shower combo - which probably explains why it's now cracked...

    Perth nightmare!

Yes. The "agent" I mentioned in my post, is sales agent (he's had nothing to do with this debacle).

    Perth nightmare!

Thanks Rixter, Yes for other IPs I've done the same but in this case it hasn't worked out due to PM not advising in the first place - and of course, the fact that I'm on the other side of the country makes it all the more important that PMs do their job properly.

    Perth nightmare!

Thanks bob shovel, Yes - have had new PMS - heaps of them! agency has had such turnover that nobody has been responsible for long enough hence the current condition of the property.:mad:: The tradie who gave the quote for most of this work included new kitchen (think flat pack) but I...

    Perth nightmare!

Hi HD_ACE, thanks for your speedy response to my query. In answer to your questions:- Suburb - Thornlie-Huntingdale zone Rent - $375 per week. Development potential - smallish block so prob. not suited for another dwelling but plenty of room to extend - could make it a 4 bed-2 bathroom...

    Perth nightmare!

IP in Perth is causing major problems right now and need some advice re. a way forward. It's a 3 bed, 1 bath. very small house in southern suburb. Our long-term tenant has vacated and has left the place pretty grotty but that's the least of my worries right now as a combination of lack of...

    Roller blinds on corner windows

I had roller blinds installed throughout my own house - some are just singles (sheers) and some have a second blockout blind. If I were getting rollers again, I'd have them all installed on the outside of the window frame as when put inside the frame the gap required for the fixing means a...

    Exterior makeover

Hi Gatoblanco, LOVE the improvements you've made with the front of your house. My place is similar age and style - except my garage has TWO arches and I'd love to get rid of them. What tradie removed the arches ? And do you mind saying what it cost for that part of your reno?

    Renovating a house

If you're keeping it as an IP I wouldn't be replacing that kitchen either - spend your money on the more important things you mention and do a cosmetic reno on the kitchen. Tiles and cupboards could be painted over - choose any one of the many made by White Knight tile and laminate paint. New...

    Lost garage remotes

Thanks everyone for your replies. The matter has now been resolved - AFTER I took this up with the agency principal - new remotes supplied at effectively no cost to me.

    Lost garage remotes

additHi, I've been reading this forum for awhile but this is my first posting. Hope someone can help with this ........... Recently we decided to sell an IP in Perth so advised property manager to give tenants required notice and the day they vacated we flew over to do an inspect and decide...
