    Does Brisbane still stack up?

Gone unconditional now, was pretty confident all would go through, but you never know I guess :)

    Does Brisbane still stack up?

Agree about the steam definitely been in it for a little while now, I'd been looking for a PPOR properly since the start of the year (watching the market long before that waiting to build finances) and anything decent has been going fast, at or above asking price. I'd call up about places that...

Gladstone QLD - How is it Going????

My situation is about the same, if that were to come to fruition would be stoked to just get my money back. Sad really, sillly first ever investment, should have stuck to the capitals to start with at least but you live and you learn.

Gladstone QLD - How is it Going????

Still talk of this steel plant going ahead in the Gladstone observer, saying they would be aiming to start construction in 2016. Alot of jobs involved if it goes ahead. All the locals comment on there saying it has no hope of going ahead though, anyone on the ground there with any...

    Another Brisbane question

I don't think your budget of 400-500k will allow for a house on a 600m2 block in coorparoo, camp hill, Norman Park area's.

Landlord sued over broken toilet seat

I lived in a place a few years ago with some mates, new property, nice area, was paying 850 a week in rent. When we moved in there was a cracked toilet seat downstairs, PM said she would get it replaced straight away. A month later... Nothing. Rang her and sent an email, she said she was sorry...

    Love him or hate him?

From memory the $35,000 property he got in Ipswich was in an over 50's complex or something of that sort, it was in one of his videos. Said it was not a property he usually goes for but apparently the rent was alot. There was also abit of drama going on with it, something was waiting to be...

    Property investing is becoming addictive...#2

Hey Mushu, Where and what did you buy? I'm thinking it can't be west Sydney, there's no way it would only be worth 190-200k after paying mid 200's. I went through birchy for a 2 bed unit out west in 2012 when he hadn't long started up his buyers agent section, paid 167k, similar unit sold in...

    Property investing is becoming addictive...#2

Hi Nixba, You are doing a great job, well done :) Are you using a buyers agent for these purchases? Not a bad thing at all if you are, just curious as it sounds up the alley of the birchy or RPG strategy. Whatever it is it sounds like its paying off for ya mate good stuff

$600 to supply and install one external door!

I do have this in place and she did contact me about getting this done and I told her yes, I said just replace with a cheap one with door handle lock as that was what was there originally. I was silly not to ask to get quotes first but I've pretty much given up on that. I've always asked in the...
