Car is automatic . I have a ctek charger but dont need 2 in brisbane,1100km away , but need 60 m of cable to get to nearest power outlet . getting battery out is a 15 min job btw rather than 2mins it normally takes
am in a public carspace . doesnt really get rid of the problem .
Not in a postion to charge the vehicle or go on a long drive to charge car,
for the time being. I must assume i have a discharge/leak somewhere as the battery appeared fine from autoelectricain test.
So i have disconnectd the battery while not in use.
My question is:
What will happen...
I have suspected that for a long time but cant locate anything so far.
even 1 month sitting in a modern car with computer chip, antitheft should be fine . Am I wrong?
the 13 hour trip shopuld have drained the battery that being the case . RACQ did a check on old battery and alternator seemed fine.
but would an auto electrician do the same test or do something more sophisticated and involved ?
How long before my batery goes flat?
New RACQ battery purchased 5 march 2015
march 9 drove 1100km to new accomodationandsince then driven 20km from March10 to april 3.
between those 2 dates car driven once a week total 20km
Today my battery was flat (430amp battery for 2.5 litre...
THANKS GENTS.
EXCELLENT ADVICE BY ALL.
WENT WITH THE USB CABLE, BUT RIPPED OFF AT $10 FROM OFFICE WORKS.
Time restraints got the better of me.
CANT CONNECT TO THIS NETWORK ACCORDING TO THE TECHIES though AT HOME WIRELESS WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE
Is this a usb port?
Is this a USB 2.0 port below the Ethernet port which was mentioned . See file attached
If so what is the cable name with RJ45 at the other end?
As this is Imac computer would a TPlink be plug and play.
If printing is my only requirement I think TPlink might be over...
In my location eg hotel ,
I have a wall connection to the internet where the Ethernet cable plugs into from my computer.
My printer also has the same connection to my computer, so I have to disconnect the internet to print.
What thing do I have to buy so I can run printer and Internet...
