How much steam does Sydney have left?

We're looking around Hurlstone Park, Dulwich Hill, Marrickville, Leichhardt, Ashfield, Croydon. We're looking at buying something that needs a bit of work instead of something that has been fully done up. It seems now that these types of houses are going for nothing less than 1.1million. I think...

How much steam does Sydney have left?

On a side note, what advice can be given to some one looking to purchase a PPOR in the inner west. We have been looking but it seems every month the prices get higher and higher. Now we're not sure if we should wait it out until some of the heat comes out, maybe next year? If things do settle...

    Empower Wealth: Experiences/Thoughts

Can anyone comment first hand on these guys? They offer a personalised property portfolio plan which uses some kind of software to predict everything for the client. I watched a YouTube video regarding the software and it seems pretty good.

    Advice on new apartments??

Sorry to high jack the thread. The new development in Summer Hill (Sydney) is up and running. Be interesting to see what growth the buyers get from it over the next few years. I think the growth might be alright. Anyone bought into it?

Anyone own units in Summer Hill

I live in Victoria St and regularly go down to summer hill for coffee. It will be a nightmare for parking down there when the units come on line. Really good times if you own a cafe there though.

Anyone own units in Summer Hill

Hi all, I have been watching the explosions of units coming on around the Lewisham West light rail station. There is the McGill St development with 68 units, the Flour Mill complex which is believed to have 320 units, a Meriton complex with similar amount and a smaller five story complex with...

Selling home with equity loan attached.

Quick question. I'm going to be selling my PPOR this year which has an equity loan against it which i used to purchase an IP. When i sell my PPOR what happens to the equity loan?

Next IP in Sydney or Brisbane?

Great read there. Earlier in the year i was looking at buying a inner city unit in Brisbane but decided not to due to the high vacancy rates. And when ever i go on to realestate.com.au to have a look at units in Brisbane it seem like there is a lot of developments being advertised.

About millers point public housing sale

First Millers Point terrece sold for $1911000 tonight reported by smh. From a capital growth point of view I don't actually think it is that bad of a buy considering its awesome location and being land locked on Sydney harbour. Could only imagine what it would be worth renovated in 10 or 15 yrs...

Right time to buy PPOR Inner West

Good ideas there propertunity. I think when buying a ppor its more about buying what you like emotionally and paying a fair and reasonable price for it. Guess its just daunting paying that kind of money money for property.

    Strong Growth in Brisbane

I have looked on SQM research for vacancy rates in both West End and New Farm. They are 4.1% and 4.7% respectively. More than double that of a inner west suburb of Sydney. It's a bit off putting.
