Good advice there.
We'll probably pull this mixer out and replace the one in the kitchen and then get a new 'less fancy' mixer for the bathroom. As long as I can keep the wife happy you know it feels :D
Looks like we have to get another 'not so fancy' basin mixer after all.
You can turn the handle to its max for cold water, it hits the wall.
Should have listened to my wife (buy less fancy mixer) when we bought this one the other day.
Maybe that's why the plumber installed the mixer with...
Hi
We just had some reno in our bathroom.
The plumber just finished installing the vanity unit, taps, etc including the swivel basin mixer.
I thought with a swivel basin mixer the handle should be on the right? But the plumber installed it in the center position (as shown in the photos)...
Thanks for sharing that with us JD86, I thought architect and a draftsman were the same.
So I guess the quote $9000 from the local architect I got is pretty much the average market fee for using an experienced archited.
Wow $2k??
I just got a local architect quoting me $9000 for using her service which includes designing and project managing.
She mentions scope of services including design, documentation for Building Approval lodgement, negotiation with potential builders, building contract administration...
We're looking at extending our house to include extra 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom.
I was wondering how much does it cost to use a draftman's service these days? And how much funds roughly would we need to put aside for that sort of project?
Do they typically do all the drafting work and manage the...
Hi Miken, just curious how much did it cost to build the extension for you?
I'm looking for a builder to do a major house extension as well to accommodate 2 more bedrooms and 1 bathroom in the South East Brisbane area.
Does he do all the paperwork as well i.e. deal with council etc...
This is exactly what I've been thinking to do in the past 3 years of owning my PPOR.
Currently still have $200k remaining loan (fixed) with Westpac, and the house was purcahsed for $360k, and I think I have about $150k equity in my PPOR by now and $50k in Savings account.
So Jason could you...
Thanks for the reply guys.
But I'm still wondering how the heck the interest + principal I pay goes up and down from month to month, hence it confused me although I'm on fixed rate loan. Hence, I'd like to know how the math/calculation work here
@eXc
It's very frustrating indeed...
Hi,
This could be a newbie question, but I'd ask it anyway as I'm getting very curious with this.
I keep looking at the statement of my home loan, I'm on 3 years fixed rate loan (7.65%) with Westpac since mid 2007 and will be converted to variable rate in mid 2010. My loan when first...
Yesterday/today, our Aussie dollar just hit its highest value against US$ since November last year...
AU$1 = US$0.7734
So to sum it all up, can we say our Aussie dollar will mostly likely go up against the US$ for a while say in the next few months or maybe end of this year or even further...
Does anybody realise our Aussie dollar has gained more value against the US dollar in the last few days?
I think it's the highest since like November last year.
Could this be due to our government spending plan in infrastructure etc or is this a sign that our Aussie economy and industries...
