How much does your Brisbane property manager charge for managing a single property (as a percentage of one weeks rent including GST) ?

Not interested in how cheap you get it because of special bulk discount deals and such - what's their "rack" rate if you just walk in off the street ?

Where did this one come from??

I goofed !! You asked for "rack rate" including GST. and I voted as "rack rate" without GST - hope it doesn't upset your parameters :D

7.5% is "rack rate" which becomes something like 8.2x% after adding GST.

Can i "re-do" the poll? If so, how??

Regards,

It has to be remembered however the rate is only one part of your cost, ie almost all agents charge an ongoing monthly petties charge of $5 plus gst, court costs, advertising and all sorts of extras. A higher comm rate can still be a cheaper overall nett amount if their "add ons" are minimal.

It's the same in most areas where property costs less than $500,000 for a tin shed.

Property managers can charge less for management in Sydney because rents are significantly higher - so they get more dollars anyway.

If you look at it as "on average, how many dollars does your property manager get for managing your property" - I would guess that it would come out reasonably similar - or maybe even higher in Sydney (becuase business costs would be higher in Sydney)

Wylie- that was me.

We like to close down polls after a period of time, when we notice it. But when they resurrect after a long time dead ill give it a little more time.

This one served its usefulness well and truly many years ago.
