Some stats for you...

There are 2,305 posts we have managed to salvage from the original forum and 23,193 posts from the WebBoard forum.

This means that with a current total post count of 100,108 posts, we have made 74,610 posts here in the vBulletin forums.

We started the vBulletin forums on the 28th September 2002. That's 586 days ago, or an average of 127.3 posts per day. This compares to an average of 40.2 posts per day for the 577 days we used the WebBoard forum.

Of our total post count:

geoffw has made 4.1% of the posts
Aceyducey has made 3.3%
I have made 2.4%
Rolf has made 2.3%
and DaleGG has made 2.1% of the posts.

Together, the top 5 posters have made 14,131 posts, or 14.1% of the posts.

The next 5 posters (asy, Sunstone, Jas, XBenX, Les) have made 6,385 posts, or 6.4% of the posts.

The next 10 posters have made 8,676 posts, or 8.7% of the total.

So the top 10 posters have made 20.5% of the posts and the top 20 posters have made 29.2% of the posts. The top 50 posters have made 44,024 posts or 44.0% of the posts.

Currently, the most replied to thread was started by Harris - Bust and then what....???? with 232 posts in that thread. (This thread has been closed since 11th Sept 2003 yet is still the longest thread by a long way)

The most viewed thread was started by Brenda Irwin - How we bought 20 IP's in 5yrs with 22,532 views, although I suspect Brenda visits this thread daily to keep the stats up :D
 
Yeah, that 15 minutes I spent on this could have been spent smoking or drinking coffee or having a pre-lunch beer or something instead. :rolleyes:

Ooops. I did not make my intentions clear.

I was referring to some of those posters who have been posting so much- that voluminous poster responsible for 4% of all posts in the forum is a prime example :)

That's why I use a postbot to make my posts for me. It trawls various forums & puts together a post which looks intelligent and insightful on the topic being discus..discu....disc......dio[dsahguibhlsGGDS
