Based on experiences from Treasury (owned by Echo) vs Crown Casino...I hope Crown wins. Several times at the Treasury had me thinking who on earth was running this place...2 hour waits for poker games on a Saturday night lol...

Either way it will certainly transform my end of town. The new mid bridge to Southbank will be great too.

I agree, I reckon it's the worst casino I have ever been to, give me the Beenleigh rsl pokies room any day lol

I think both- rewind back to what crown did for inner city Melbourne apartment prices back in 2006 -2009.

I think something similar will happen here, so the CBD should benefit.

Also agree that close access suburbs [ say within 10km radius] will benefit, or those with direct train/bus to nearby stations.

No doubt that the current treasury casino is not as good as most people's garage. Even echo has said something vaguely to that effect, very carefully ofcourse.

Echo has realised that there were areas for improvement and has said they will attempt to do better.

I actually like the echo proposal better than the crown one, but not by much.
