High Body Corporate Fees

my aptmt ip comes with outdoor pool. I've never seen anyone use it and i dont like paying for its maintenance. This is probably a long shot but Has anyone successfully lobbied the strata managers to fill in a pool? Whats the process? The sauna can go too now i think of it. Only want the indoor squash court which should be cheap to maintain.

Ku-ring-gai Council has a Pool to Pond program that you could use as an alternative arguement rather than a fill in.

You would probably find the tenants would have taken leases out knowing
a pool exists and could probably argue for a rent decrease if it was removed
during the current lease period..

I always thought it was a long shot ... you're right, so many other issues. If it was that easy I'm sure I would have seen/heard by now
