26 but just shaved the beard off so looking like a 12yo
What is it with this current trend of blokes all with beards??

Even on the teev; it's as though none of the "talent" in ads etc can get a gig unless they have a disgraceful 5 day scunge on their chin, and look like they've just woken up from 5 days of hangover sleep.

I mean; if you are remotely cleanshaven and "normal" looking; you won't get a gig as an actor.

So guys; if you want to rebel...don't have a tatt, don't have a beard, and don't wear your pants around yer knees.

Voila! you are now an individual.

On Sunday last, we took our two little ones to a new play centre up in Frankston. Yes; I had to mix it with the humans unfortunately.

It was packed, and as I do; I observed folks there. It's one of my pastimes.

So anyway, I saw one Franga Dad with only a singlet on, and knee length shorts and runners (it was farkin cold; hence I noticed him straight away and thought "what the??...)

He was a walking tattoo, and I had my suspicions that the inappropriate dress code for the weather was so he could advertise the ink

It then prompted me to observe the "tatt percentage" of the entire audience - females and males - and the conclusion was that my wife and I were in the vast minority of adults in that establishment that did not have tattoos.

Oh yes; most of the dudes had a beard of sorts, too.

It was quite funny; all these folks trying to make a statement and be an individual....

I do it a bit if I don't need to see a client or attend interview/conferences.

Few advantages:
1. Don't need to shave every morning. Trimming once in a while is sufficient.
2. Hides the double chin
3. It gives a bit of serious/experienced look
4. Kids don't like one day shaven as it pokes them
5. Moves the attention away from thinning hair (head)
6. Additional sunnies & a hoody keeps any trouble makers away from me
