I am also practiced in the art of letting him 'think' he made the end decision, when really it was my plan all along...
I'm good at this as well

Yes. Yes, it does.
Not necessarily Penny. Plenty of strong, confident women marry weaker men that they are easily able to control, in much the same way that men do. In my opinion, it's only fair to say that in the overwhelming majority of marriages, one partner is clearly dominant.
That's not always the case,my Wife and me tossed the coin 13 years ago to see who would stay at home and bring the girls up,and plus my Wife was a in high paid job that have a pay cheque each week,i was only a Plumber and sometimes payment was always a problem plus my body was falling apart, fast track 13 years everything has worked out well, and btw i handle all the finances,do all the cooking, not the best at cleaning,or washing clothes and we have been a solid team, and i put in down too 2 items,if there is a problem sort it out before you go too bed,and what ever money i draw out i give her half,,we have been a team for over 25 years and as no-one knows how many weekends they have left in their life maybe 25 years more..
You carry a step ladder around in your handbag?
I would say men on SS are atypical too...
Which is a good thing in a lot of ways.
In your case, you have taken on the role of the "sterotype" wife.
It's always good to see one parent staying home raising the children. Doesn't matter which one, as long as they enjoy the role.
And it is probably pink at well.
Dont laugh, pink tools for women, are the latest rage.

when you have 4 Ladies in the house and watch them become Ladies from nappies it's the best any Man can hope for..
I hear you.
I lover raising a daughter being at home a lot.
She got a Toy chainsaw at Christmas. A Stihl model just like the real thing. Yeterday she was using the "real thing" with me holding. She does wear FULL safety gear: ear miffs, full face mask, gloves, boots etc.. or my wife would use the Chainsaw on me!

I'll run the "sterotype wife" past the 2 boys next door and see what they thinknext time they complain about something, never been called a stay a home wife, always thought as my self as a stay at home taxi driver-cook-cleaner-maintenance person-problem fixer, but when you have 4 Ladies in the house and watch them become Ladies from nappies it's the best any Man can hope for..
Typical for a man to be insulted when being compared to a woman.

Insulted
Willair only replied he's a jack of all trades and enjoyed watching his kids grow up.
However making a comment that someone is a "stereotype wife" could be considered inflammatory.
Guess it must be your perception and attitude to someone being a stay at home parent.

Nothing wrong with the stereotype wife or stay at home wife. In fact, I am looking for one myself. Hard to find these days. Most girls want to have a career, a night life and maybe some kids. So if I ever find an aspiring stay at home wife, I will be sure to support her goals.
even if it means you gonna have more expenses supporting one as oppose to one who wants a career?
